2. Rome Fortune ft. iLoveMakonnen - "FriendsMaybe"

Rome Fortune has been collaborating with some of the best in the game, so it was only a matter of time until he and iLoveMakonnen worked together. The two balance one another out on "FriendsMaybe," a catchy, endearingly weird, and incredibly fun song.

Ryan Hemsworth shares another gem through his Secret Songs series. dd elle’s "Tell Me" has a billowing, distant sound that feels like those last sun rays of summer.

4. Dej Loaf ft. Wiz Khalifa - "Try Me (Remix)"

A Drake cosign certainly didn't hurt, but Detroit rapper Dej Loaf deserves all credit for this one. "Try Me" is a strange song, with airy production and level, melodic vocal delivery not giving away the gritty subject matter. Wiz Khalifa features on the remix, free to download below.

5. The Weeknd - "What You Need (Jacques Greene Edit)"

Jacques Greene dug up an old edit he did of The Weeknd's game changer "What You Need" and shared it with those late nights in mind. An oldie but a goodie.

Armed with a number of hard-hitting samples from artists like Kanye West and A$AP Ferg, Hucci melds together an epic song that you should listen to on a soundsystem with good bass. Download the song here.

8. Mila J - "Smoke, Drink, Break Up (Murlo Refix)"

We premiered L-Vis 1990's remix of this Mila J song, and now another awesome UK producer has remixed it. Murlo's new version of the R&B jam sucks out any of the original's sadness with its colorful, danceable production.

9. Daytrip ft. feat. Treez Lowkey, Daye Jack, & Kidepo - "The Escape (Port-au-Prince)"

NY production duo Daytrip remind us of their versatility on "The Escape," with the energy of their pounding, pumelling beats matched by Daye Jack, Kidepo, and Treez Lowkey. The sound here is totally different from Raury's "Cigarette Song" (which Daytrip also produced), and that's part of the reason why it's so impressive. Look out for these kids. Download the track here.

Daytrip and Daye Jack both perform at our debut No Celings show in NY on September 25. Tickets here.

10. Blue Daisy - "Mermaids"

British producer and rapper Blue Daisy deals in the kind of menacing, experimental sounds that will haunt your nightmares.
