Subculture Sage’s debut EP showcases the breadth of the UK-based duo’s influences. The six track long EP features the singles “1=1=1” and “Stories and Tales,” alongside other impressive cuts that make the most of their talents. Whilst progressive and forward-thinking, it’s also distinctly British without straying too close to the negative stigmas attached to the UK’s hip-hop scene. Alongside acts like Last Night in Paris, Subculture Sage are part of a new wave of rising UK hip-hop artists helping the scene to stand out again.
