Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis—better known as Peaking Lights—are a Los Angeles based duo on the brink of releasing their tenth album. The pair, who are actually married, have been releasing music since 2008, and today they share “Breakdown,” the first single off their new album.
The vocals are delivered in an almost emotionless manner, but the warped electronics and vivid songwriting bring the track to life, with the result being part singsong synth-pop and part Caribbean beach party. Peaking Lights new album, Cosmic Love, is out October 7, listen to “Breakdown” below.
