We fell in love with Doja Cat’s “So High” as soon as we heard it, and that same mix of hazy, woozy production and undeniable hooks can be found across the LA artist’s whole Purrr! EP. It’s a masterclass in drugged out, experimental production with Mndsgn, Dream Koala, Yeti Beats, Imran Omari, and Evil Needle providing the backing for Doja Cat’s warm, breathy singing and also rapping (which might come as a surprise to someone who has only heard “So High”).
