Josef Salvat has been taking his time with new releases, doing it right by sharing only music of the highest quality. The London-based singer’s latest, “Shoot and Run,” is a full-bodied and sophisticated pop song, and is yet another example of time used wisely. Powerful and uncharacteristically dark production enhance Salvat’s clever lyrics, but like the songs that came before “Shoot and Run,” his commanding vocals are at the forefront here.
