Do you think you have what it takes to be released on Stones Throw Records? Well here’s your chance. In an interesting twist stemming from a recent headphone collaboration, Stones Throw and AIAIAI are teaming up to give anyone the chance to be released by the Los Angeles-based, independent label.
Through a new app called World Premiere, users get the opportunity—via the mic in their headphones—to rap over Stones Throw’s very first release: Charizma and Peanut Butter Wolf’s “My World Premiere.” Recordings can then be uploaded and submitted. The winner—picked by Peanut Butter Wolf himself—will have their recording released as well as pressed on 7″ inch vinyl. If you think you’ve got what it takes download the app here.
