Darkside, the collaborative project between Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, is coming to an end. The pair announced on Twitter that they’ll be playing their final show in Brooklyn on September 12, and you can buy tickets for that here. They didn’t say much about why they were stopping, but they have said it’s only “for now.” Thanking fans for their support, the pair have released two b-sides from their debut album, Psychic. The tracks, “What They Say” and “Gone Too Soon,” are particularly sprawling and spacey, even for Darkside.
The pair only have two releases under their name, but hopefully we’ll be hearing more solo stuff now that they’re disbanding for a while. Listen to “What They Say” and “Gone Too Soon” below.
