Hit Boy’s HS87 crew has been on the rise as of late, but it’s K. Roosevelt that perhaps stands out the most.  The future-r&b singer/songwriter’s music features familiar elements of Hit Boy’s production, but Roosevelt moves them in different directions. In the hazy video for the druggy “The One,” the lead single off his Journey EP, Roosevelt showcases his mildly tripped out aesthetic, suiting the sensual but chopped and screwed sound.
