Yes, “New Dorp New York” really is the title of the first track from SBTRKT’s hotly anticipated second album, the follow-up to 2011’s SBTRKT. Premiered by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 a little earlier this evening, the new song comes along with the announcement that the new record will be called Wonder Where We Land and our first look at the album artwork, above.

“It’s a funny tune, in a way,” Aaron Jerome says, introducing the new song, and anyone expecting something a sound similar to the first album, or even to “Temporary View,” his recent one off with Sampha, will be well and truly surprised. The production bubble and gurgles while Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend delivers a strange sort of ode to New York. Check out the radio rip below, along with a short album trailer video.
