Kendall Elijah has been impressing us since he dropped “The Wild” all the way back in 2012, and he’s only gotten better since. Biscuit Number One is the latest EP by the young rapper/singer, and it’s perhaps his most ambitious yet. The EP starts with the ethereal “Whirlpools,” and ends with the lo-fi pacific-northwestern emo inspired “Overcast.”
Biscuit Number One jumps from one style to the next like its nothing, resulting in a highly varied hazy listen. It’s also worth noting that “Friday After Work” has Kendall rapping over Mac DeMarco, and that’s pretty darn cool. Listen to EP in full below.
