1. Chromeo ft. Toro y Moi - "Come Alive"
To be honest, basically everything that Chromeo has made in their entire career has sounded stright out of the ‘80s. And Toro y Moi is no stranger to experimenting with retro sounds either, so this collaboration felt like it was bound to happen sooner or later. “Come Alive” blends synth-pop with a funky bassline that would have fit right in a few decades ago. Chromeo and Toro y Moi both seem to share the mission of trying to get people up off their feet and onto the dancefloor. It seems safe to say that they’re succeeding.
