Shortly following the release of her song “Hold Me“—released in anticipation of her upcoming EP—the Swedish born artist Kissey reveals her latest song, “Fuse,” through a brand new video. The smoky visuals which were directed by Ellinor Stigle, leave much up to the eye, with abnormal angles and flares of light abstracting the human form within the frame.
In contrast, the song is blunt, jerking it’s way through a series of robotic incantations, almost brainwashing the listener with demanding repetition. It’s a more aggressive sound than previously heard from the artist, but nevertheless, Kissey shows once again that she holds the key to making interesting dance music.
