Returning to Brooklyn for the tenth time, Afropunk Fest—the popular NYC summer music festival—is set to make a triumphant return August 23-25. Releasing the line-up earlier today, it’s clear to see the bookers over at Afropunk are no slouches. The lineup is a great one, with legendary R&B star D’Angelo—who just reappeared in an interview with Red Bull Music Academy—experimental rap royalty Shabazz Palaces, Trash Talk, and SZA, all on the bill.
