Wild Beasts are lucky to have two fantastic vocalists in the band, each with a distinctive delivery, but both able to hit an enviable falsetto whenever they necessary. British producer Djrum’s brilliant remix of “A Simple Beautiful Truth” lays the twin vocals of Hayden Thorpe and Tom Fleming over softly twinkling melodies and (for most of the song) barely any beat. The effect is similar to the weightless, intergalactic pop sound that Dream Koala does so well on his recent EP, and is the kind of music that you can really lose yourself in.
