Getting an assist from director Chuck David Willis, up-and-coming blues rocker Devan DuBois has released a striking new video for his song, “Long Live.” Rife with flowery and mysterious black-and-white imagery, the clip offers a grand, cinematic take on classic blues sounds.
With “Long Live,” DuBois has crafted a track that is both gritty and orchestral. With his video, the nascent talent blows up his ambitions to a scale comparable to Lana Del Rey’s famously grandiose productions. Watch the entire clip above.
Reportedly, we can expect an album from DuBois in the summer. The name for the forthcoming LP has yet to be announced.
