Born in Moscow, but now based in New York City, Russian artist Tatiana Kochkareva has slowly been gaining steam in 2014, first with January’s Tati Ana EP—released under her stage name Tati Ana—and now with her latest track “MRI.” The song is a crushing wall of static interspersed with breaks showcasing Tati Ana’s delicate, sultry voice. Though she doesn’t have the piercing wail of Alice Glass, the track’s instrumentation is not unlike something you’d hear from Crystal Castles. Listen to it below.
