Good Morning Midnight is a collection of songs from A.ware of the Atlanta based rap duo Mach Five and producers Ronnie P and Proski. The construction of Good Morning Midnight started with a simple jam session last August in a mid-sized apartment in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta, but this doesn’t sound like your typical ATL rap album.
A.ware’s delivery gives the project a grounded kind of wisdom. He’s smooth, relaxed, and he avoids the aggressive trap sounds so prevalent in his city right now. With summer around the corner, Good Morning Midnight is sounding like the kind of hip-hop made for long sunny days and good moods, and it manages that vibe without being at all corny or bubbly.
