Phil Collins has been keeping busy the past few years, focusing on other things instead of music. But in an unexpected turn of events, Mr. Collins recently performed “In The Air Tonight” for the first time in nine years… at Miami Country Day’s middle school spring concert. Joining a handful of schoolkids on stage, the singer performed the 1980 classic, as well as a cover of Genesis’ “Land of Confusion.” The kids at the school may not have understood the significance of this, but judging by the squeals in the audience the parents certainly did.
