Locke - "O Boy"

Listen to NY singer/producer Locke's twisted "O Boy."

None

Mysterious NY artist Locke’s first song “We Are The Prey” had us intrigued with its sinister production and hushed vocals, but her new track “O Boy” is even better. It’s what is left of a pop song, after a pop song dies alone in the desert, rots a little, and has the flesh pecked from its carcass by hungry vultures.

It’s sparse, skeletal, and haunting, with barely there percussion providing a haunting backdrop for lines like “it’s getting darker every day, save me, oh save me boy.” It’s weird and wonderful and I’ve had it on repeat for the last 30 minutes.

Check out Locke’s simple website here, and download both her songs below.
