Remember that playlist we made of songs that make you feel like you’re underwater? That playlist feels incomplete now.
“Into The Water” was produced (by THEMpeople), recorded, and released in two days. Young and rising Chicago artist Jean Deaux’s debut album Soular System is on the way, but this song is part of a short series of songs leading up to the album. “Throughout this series,” the press release explains, “Jean will share her music in its purest form: raw—no writing, mixing or mastering involved.”
