Jack White is on the cover of the newest issue of Rolling Stone in support of his upcoming solo album, Lazaretto. In his interview with the magazine, White reveals two unlikely collaborations that were unfortunately scrapped: one with Kanye West for his Yeezus album that never ended up happening because West never followed through, and one with Jay Z, whose unfinished tracks with the rocker never surfaced. Why? “I’m not sure he liked them,” White stated.

Despite this, White harbors no hurt feelings towards either, telling the magazine how much he loved Kanye’s Yeezus tour. “That might have been the greatest show I’ve seen in my life,” he admitted. “It was more punk, more in-your-face than anything I’ve seen.”
