Baths continues his darkened and direct take on electronic pop. Taken from the recently announced Ocean Death EP, “Fade White” is a relatively somber affair, with lyrics focusing on mortality. The track remains pretty despite its weighty lyricism, with a throbbing bassline and twinkling pianos, staying true to Baths’ delightful rainy day formula. The Ocean Death EP is out Tuesday (May 6) through Anticon.
