Usually when a track is described as “not going somewhere,” it’s counted as insult. “Sweet Tooth” might just be exception to that, as it refuses to budge, making the most of where its at. It doesn’t need to progress, because where it’s at is perfectly pretty as it is. Low-key British producer Throwing Shade is quietly making moves, and “Sweet Tooth” is her bold existential announcement to the world. Slowly lurching and swirling with its bright synths, “Sweet Tooth” is just as syrupy as its name might suggest.
