MS MR’s “Bones” is dark and dramatic, and for this Hot Sugar remix, the dark undertones carry through, but there’s something kind of dreamy about it. Like, when you’re having a nightmare, but while you’re in it you realize you’re dreaming, and suddenly it seems kind of cool. It’s got all the unorthodox thumps, clicks, and switch-ups you could want from a Hot Sugar beat, but those vocals keep it all grounded.
