“Revolusion,” with its colorful video and manic electronic production sets the tone for the rest of Elliphant’s Look Like You Love It EP, out now on Mad Decent, and available to stream in full below. Featuring production from Diplo, Skrillex, TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, and young Swedish producer The Reef, the EP only slows down briefly on “Everything 4 U.”
It’s certainly different—more aggressive, aimed for the EDM, “let’s rage bro” crowd—to her early songs like “Down On Life” and “Live Till I Die.” Will it make her more successful and widely popular? Probably. Does it make her a less interesting and unique character in music? Definitely.
Hopefully Elliphant will continue to explore new sounds in the future and surprise us with something fresh just like “Down On Life” did in late 2012. Buy the EP here and listen below.
