Eyedress is a young producer from the Philippines who has been putting out unique, futuristic music since last year, when he released his debut EP Supernatural on XL imprint Abeano. Idris Vicuña, the man behind the music, makes it all on his laptop from his base of Quezon City, Manila, and links up here with Skint Eastwood, who provides vocals on six of the tracks from his new mixtape Hearing Colors.
The beats are rich and languorous as vocals float gently above, creating a hazy world that’s half way between a dream and a nightmare. Impressive stuff from the 23-year-old, which you can listen to below and download free from Eyedress’ website here.
