Australian dance-rockers Cut Copy have just released “Like Any Other Day,” a new song set to appear as a B-side on their forthcoming Record Store Day release. A spacey, echoing groove, the track drifts between soaring and ambient sounds, mashing together roaring guitar chords and drawn-out, meandering vocal work. The result is an intoxicating, tranquil blend of psych rock not unlike the spectacular material found on their most recent album, Free Your Mind.
“In These Arms of Love” b/w “Like Any Other Day” will be available April 19 via Modular. The press will be limited to 2,000 copies.
