Video: Lolawolf ft. A$AP Rocky - "Jimmy Franco"

Watch the video for Lolawolf's "Jimmy Franco," featuring A$AP Rocky.

For those unfamiliar, Lolawolf is a band fronted by Zoë Kravitz, daughter of her rock musician father, Lenny. But with the video for their latest track, “Jimmy Franco,” Kravitz & Co. announce themselves in a big way, as the lead singer partners up with A$AP Rocky to produce a flirtatious, low-lit visual accompaniment to the band’s song. The track is set to appear on their forthcoming, eponymous EP.

As a song, “Jimmy Franco” is bubbly, romantic synth-pop, complemented by Kravitz’s delicate vocal style, and a well-balanced blend of drum machines and electronic hums. The video matches it sentiment, essentially telling the tale of two, young New Yorkers in love. Watch it above.

Lolawolf will be released later this year via Innit Recordings.
