Isaiah Rashad’s Cilvia Demo is one of the centerpiece’s of TDE’s bid for global domination. But it’s a very different album from Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron; Cilvia Demo is introspective, guiding listeners to the darkest corners of Rashad’s upbringing in Tennessee.

His legend continues to grow today with a new video for “Heavenly Father.” Rashad’s lyricism is off the charts here, and his verses about cutting and suicide are matched beautifully with stark portraits of a snowy New York. SZA provides a feathery hook, and the hypnotization is complete. Cilvia Demo is out now on iTunes. The video was directed by Eric Swiz.
