There was never room for any commonplace visuals to accompany BROODS’ moving song, “Never Gonna Change,” which appears on their self-titled EP. The complex, skittering production, hazy, sweeping vocals, and bittersweet spirit of the song are brought to life through a mysterious man who emerges from a lake, and the troubles that he and his lover are plagued by never seem to go away.
It’s an engaging and beautiful video, and should satiate fans until the duo release more music. In the meantime, watch the video above, and catch BROODS live as they make their way around North American, the tour dates for which you can see below.
