Listen to Marika Hackman's Cover of Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers"
After releasing two EPs in 2013, Marika Hackman is readying another EP, Deaf Heat, which is due out April 14. One of the tracks featured on the upcoming compilation is this haunting cover of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers.” Hackman’s rendition removes some of the more upbeat percussion contained in the original track for a much more stripped down, tender feel.
