Charli XCX had a massive 2013, thanks mostly to her part in Icona Pop’s huge “I Love It,” which the musician appeared on and co-wrote. Aside from that, Charli also released her debut album True Romance and scored a guest spot on Danny Brown’s Old. Luckily, it doesn’t look like the 21 year old has any plans of slowing down anytime soon, as she revealed that she’s already hard at work on her next album.

Speaking with Complex during SXSW, Charli discussed her upcoming release saying she was recently in the studio working on it with both Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, as well as Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij. And while she was wasn’t so candid when it came to the album’s title, she did admit that she felt the new record was the “best thing she’s ever done.”  The project doesn’t have a set release date, but expect it sometime in 2014.
