Did you have a good time in Austin? We hope you did. We’re so glad you’re back. The dance music train never sleeps, nor slows down, so we have enough of those bits you snoozed through this week, in hopes that you’re prepped and ready for Miami Music Week, Coachella, and the other 5011 music festivals happening very, very soon.
Skream – “Bang That”
This one’s been sitting in dubplate heaven for far too long; it’s all parts dubstep disco house bounce lumped into one glorious cookie.
Anna Lunoe & Treasure Fingers – “Bad MF”
For the dance music fans with “bad motherfucker” on their wallets.
Disclosure ft. Mary J. Blige – “F For You (Eats Everything Remix)”
Eats Everything does the damn thing, and for his latest he’s turned MJB (da MVP) into a series of wails and bytes on this remix.
Future – “Shit (Salva Remix)”
Because everyone needs a rowdy version of a Future track in their lives.
Clockwork – “Champion”
RL Grime’s electro house AKA gets all big room EDM ready with his latest.
UZ – “Break Point”
UZ was one of the first break-out trap stars in 2012, but as of late he’s been trying his hand at the 100BPM/twerk/bounce sounds. Most of it has been meh, but this “Break Point” bit is the best of the lot by far.
Grandtheft & Thugli – “Heavy Hitterz”
If you were in need of more bounce, this Canadian thump from Grandtheft and Thugli will have you all kinds of open.
MSCLS – “Alone”
Something about the awesome vocal edits on this one; MSCLS really dropped a mid-tempo funky one.
Doctor Jeep – “Vortex”
Simple, yet effective. Hopefully you have a powerful enough subwoofer for this one.
DJ Earl ft. Elliott Mess – “Shake Ya Body”
If you’re just getting into DJ Rashad and the footwork scene, I highly recommend you giving DJ Earl a whirl. Dude’s putting himself out there in exciting ways.
Mob Tactics – “Joe Mangle”
I have to throw in a funky piece of drum & bass. Taken from the recently-released RAMiami Drum & Bass 2014 compilation.
Lockah – “Heartless Monster”
Lockah’s Yahoo or the Highway will be that ’80s-drenched electronic album you didn’t know that you always wanted.
Sampha – “Can’t Get Close (Sinistarr Edit)”
Ride out to a future club edit of this soft Sampha tune. Perfect end credits music.
