Canadian synth-pop artist Trust has just released a new track from his forthcoming album, Joyland. “Are We Arc?” is a dark and smoky slow-burner, featuring Robert Alfons’ gritty vocals over a pulsating electric current that runs throughout. According to Alfons, the track, “was written on the side of volcano while in Argentina, inspired by patience and lava. An integral tender moment in the album’s story.”
You certainly can’t argue with the result. Joyland is out March 4 via Arts & Crafts.
