Shura origins are English and Russian (her mother was, according to the press release, a Russian actress who turned down a role in Goldeneye, believing James Bond to be anti-Russian), but it was going to university in England that she started writing songs.
“Touch” is the first of her music we’ve heard, and it’s fantastic. Subtle, but packing enough emotional punch to keep the listener engaged, we can’t wait to hear more from Shura.
