Originally released as a sparse bedroom demo in mid-2013, Shivum Sharma‘s “Flicker” has now gotten a makeover from the up-and-coming Manchester producer, TCTS. This remix is likely to inspire comparisons to that other UK-based electronic act that we currently all know and love, Disclosure.
With TCTS’ remix of “Flicker,” a lofty claim like this isn’t too far off base, as the pulsing trebles and muted basses summon the same sort of energy as a track like “When A Fire Starts to Burn.” Listen to both the remix and the original song below, both of which will be featured on Shivum Sharma’s upcoming Flicker EP.
Flicker will be released March 3 via National Anthem.
