Royce Wood Junior - "Nuff"

Royce Wood Jr has been living and performing with Jamie Woon, and his debut solo song "Nuff" is highly impressive.

And out of nowhere, we have yet another purveyor of late-night, twisted pop to become obsessed with. Although Royce Wood Junior is new to us, he’s certainly been putting in work, having played in housemate Jamie Woon’s band, produced the forthcoming Jono McCleery album for Ninja Tune, and contributed tracks for Kwabs‘ forthcoming album.

Debut track “Nuff” is a glorious mess of rich vocals and skewed production, half throwback soul and half experimental electronics, and has us very excited for Royce Wood Junior’s debut EP, which will be announced soon.

Royce is the latest signing to London label Parlez Parlez, who released “Gripp” by Kwes, George Maple, and Kilo Kish last year. Listen to “Nuff” below or via the video above.
