English DJ and producer Redlight has just released a collaborative effort with the immortal Chef Raekwon titled, “Get Money.” Repurposing the iconic hook from Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M.,” Raekwon cuts up the track with a well-measured cadence, a polished flow, and his uniquely contagious energy. Meanwhile, Redlight’s jarring, haunting production provides a welcome partner for the rapper’s trademark grit.
The song is set to appear on Redlight’s forthcoming 36EP. The project will be released March 10 via Polydor.
