It’s been almost a year since Norwegian songstress Mr Little Jeans, aka Monica Birkenes, released any new material, but that bout of silence was well worth the wait because today we not only get a new EP, but news of a full length album as well. The Good Mistake EP features four tracks, including the previously released “Runaway,” “Oh Sailor,” and her fantastic cover of Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs.” Also shared on the EP is the title track “Good Mistake,” an energetic electro-pop production that fits in nicely with her already solid catalog of work. Following shortly after is Birkenes’ debut record Pocketknife, which, according to the singer, is “deeply personal and ripe for interpretation.” The album will be out on March 25, take a listen to “Good Mistake” below.
