We’ve been longtime fans of Erik Hassle and for good reason. Late last year, the young Swedish singer released one of the most memorable, catchy songs of 2013 in “Talk About It,” which attracted remixes from Vic Mensa, Elliphant, Saint Pepsi, and more. Recently, he’s taken a stab at mainstream pop songwriting for Shakira and Rihanna with their duet “Can’t Remember to Forget You.” But, the big leagues haven’t distracted Hassle as he prepares to drop a new EP, Somebody’s Party, next month.

Today, Cosmopolitan premieres yet another massive pop track from Hassle titled “Pathetic” and produced by SOHN, who’s making quite the habit of teaming up with talented, rising European pop singers, and Nick Ruth. This song sees Hassle sensually sing about how tasting someone’s lips sent his heart in a frenzy over SOHN’s signature pulsating synth work.

Hear “Pathetic” below. Hassle’s Somebody’s Party EP will be out March 4.
