The release of Daniel Wilson’s debut EP Young Rubbish is steadily approaching, which means it’s about time we were treated to another cut from it. Following “Will You,” the captivating “Please Dream Again” sees Wilson at his very best. Jumping out as a more daring track for the young singer/songwriter, the gurgling “Please Dream Again” boils slowly until it froths over in its foreboding, roboticized closing moments. It’s just as pretty as we’ve now come to expect from Wilson, and makes it evident that he’s more than capable of expanding his sound in some exciting directions.
