Last time we heard from singer/multi-instrumentalist Conner Youngblood, it was when he told us the story of his experience with a label, and how that fell apart. It was a cautionary tale, but the good news is that Conner is back to releasing his music. First up is “Confidence,” the title track to his upcoming EP. This one builds with driving force and breaks into a primal chorus. Hear/download “Confidence” below.
“This song is the last part of three songs I wrote together all covering the same story about having, losing, and trying to find one’s confidence. Sounds dumb, I know. But hey, such is life,” Conner says in an email. A few minutes later, he emails again: “And jk on the ‘dumb’ thing, these songs actually do mean a lot to me.”
