Brooklyn producer and general enigma Blackedout has been quietly releasing his foggy, bass-heavy tracks for a while now, but his latest, the ethereal “Vessel,” has really got our attention. His songs tend to mix ghostly, screwed vocal samples atop room-shaking bass and twinkling melodies. “Vessel” is no different, and is quite easily the best showcase of his promising talents yet. The screeching synths whirring as the songs reaches its climax are but the cherry on top.
