Writing visceral, affective lyrics is one thing, but having a powerful enough voice to carry on that heavy emotion is a rarity. Meg Myers, though, has been proving that she’s gifted in both respects since we first heard from her, and her most recent offering, “Desire,” further exemplifies her strength in pinning down complex emotions with her voice. When paired with a dark, eerie set of visuals featuring some sensual paranormal activity, that emptiness and yearning is brought to life, and Meg wins. Watch her video for “Desire” above.
