Trent Reznor to the Grammys: "A heartfelt F*CK YOU guys."

Trent Reznor responds on Twitter to the Grammys cutting his finale performance short.

Being asked to perform for the finale at any awards show is a big deal. But when it’s the Grammys, the honor’s always a double-edged sword with the ceremony notorious for its extra-long runtime—last night’s show clocked in at over three and a half hours. So when Trent Reznor took the stage to perform with his band Nine Inch Nails as well as with Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age, and Lindsey Buckingham, their set was cut short to compensate for the telecast running overtime. Commercials for Hilton Hotels and Delta Airlines aired instead while the bands’ medley played in the background, much like last year’s show which closed with a performance from LL Cool J, Travis Barker, Tom Morello, Chuck D, and DJ Z-Trip.

Always one to voice his opinion, Trent Reznor quickly took to Twitter shortly after the show to blast the Grammy producers:
