“JJ,” the new song from Danish duo Reptile Youth, is a raucous mix of gritty guitar and bright synth melodies, all topped off by vocals that sound like the second coming of Oasis. The song snakes along for nearly five minutes, but with its loping groove subtle changes, listeners will be held captive throughout. From the band:

There is this guy whose initials are JJ… he has been a fan of ours for a long time. Somehow he got a hold of our email address and started writing me,” the band said. “That is why there is now a song named ‘JJ,’ in which I also use some of the lines of our correspondence.
