The slow-blooming flower of music’s partnership with corporations continues to show its petals. Sonos makes wireless speakers , and they debuted a commercial last night at the Grammys for their new Playbar.
We’re here, however, for the music they sponsored: Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and N.A.S.A took on Bob Marley‘s “I Shot the Sherriff,” throwing a little disco into the reggae beats while the walls turn purple.
The full song ain’t bad neither. It offers plenty of space for O to get creative, a worthy addition to both portfolios. Stream below:
