In October, Brooklyn folk-pop duo Yellerkin introduced themselves with a fittingly autumnal track, debut single “Solar Laws.” Enlisting Canadian elctronic-rock artist Teen Daze for a remix, it seems the Yellerkin boys (or at least their agent of choice for reworking) have winter on their minds.

Simultaneously glimmering and gray, Teen Daze lends the ambient, chill-wave-influenced style of his recent work to Yellerkin’s driving single, recasting it an entirely different light, an enjoyably icy, new lens for the original that shares with it only vocals. Give it a listen below.
