In support of their collaborative album 7 Days of Funk out today, last night Snoop Dogg and Dâm-Funk brought their retro funkdafied act to late-night television with a performance of the laid back “Faden Away” on Conan which features some classic Snoop dance moves. And if you’re unfamiliar with Dâm-Funk’s modern funk movement, catch up with a mini-documentary in which the Los Angeles producer discusses his relationship with funk music and revisits his childhood home in Pasadena, courtesy of Pitchfork. Watch their performance of “Faden Away” above, and the documentary below. 7 Days of Funk is out now via Stones Throw, which you can stream in full here.

Update: Watch the just released Henry DeMaio- directed visuals for “Hit Da Pavement” below. The video serves as the second part to “Faden Away.”
