Watch Dâm-Funk's Hour-Long Boiler Room DJ Set

Right now, it’s lightly snowing and frigid in NYC. But luckily, we’ve got Dâm-Funk to transport us to a summer day party for at least an hour. Back in October before Dâm-Funk dropped his collaborative album with Snoop Dogg7 Days of Funk, he did a killer hour-long set for the Ray-Ban x Boiler Room 003 Treasure Island Festival 2-Room Broadcast. Now, the Boiler Room has made video of the full set available to watch on YouTube. The set kicks off with one of the most recognizable samples in hip-hop, Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit,” and transitions into a dozen more deep cuts. There’s nothing better than seeing a DJ’s appreciation for the music he loves put on full display; the moments when Dâm-Funk holds up his precious vinyls and throws his hands up in jubilant sing-along: priceless. He also takes to the mic to perform for a bit around the 39-minute mark.

Watch the full set above.
